Summer 2008
Audrey and I decided to put a duo together, just my electric guitar and our two voices, in order to tour a little this past summer.
Well, we ended up doing 23 gigs in the various Partouche casinos, and four gigs as a opening act for "Me and Mrs. Jones" Billy Paul.
Quite an adventure!
We had some good times, some... interesting times, and a few moments of grace.
The last night was at the Elysée Montmartre in Paris, we had to fight to get an even twenty minutes of play, but after twenty or so concerts, well, things just fall into place, a nice feeling.
I'm thinking about a new recording project, completely unexpected, and we have an important gig with my band in Toulouse on the 14th of November.
See you then. LK

December 2007
Well, we finally made it to Paris! Three nights at the wonderful Flèche d’Or in the 20eme, on the 17th, 18th and 19th of December 2007.
The stage is small but cozy, the lights were really nice (good job by Tof) and the sound as usual was great, thanks to Tintin (without whom much would be impossible). Emma took pictures and Romain filmed the last 2 nights, so soon we will have a ton of visuals for the world to see.
We did a shorter set than usual, I left out most of the more ambient songs, and therefore we were in an outgoing rock attitude, it was OK for a while, but I missed taking the time to develop sound and vision. It was after all a showcase, with people from the industry, so the idea was to make a quick and lasting impression… we will see if the future proves us right.
The band is getting tight although we had a replacement drummer, as our two drummers from Toulouse were unavailable, we had to rework some of the material, but it’s always good to have fresh input as it gives a new vision of the songs.
Thanks to NOA, Ari and everyone who participated.

June 2007
Some things take time. I spent the winter getting the new band together: Jean-Denis Rivaleau on drums, Fred Schadoroff on keyboards and Patrice Hernandez on bass.
It's a great band. We put the computers and sequences aside and now are free to let the music flow. It's a real live band! The sound has a raw quality to it that makes the band come alive.
I don't regret all the work with the machines and some day we will incorporate them back into the set.
We did two concerts at “Gare aux Morilles” in Toulouse and the audience reaction encouraged us to continue in this direction.
During the first week of July we have a tour of the northern Partouche casinos planned, to work out the set some more:
- the 2nd in Dieppe
- the 3rd and 4th in Saint-Amand
- le 5th in Le Havre
- le 6th in Forges-les-Eaux
It's the beginning of a new adventure and it's very exciting!

End of august 2006
Well, we may not play much for the time being, but when we do, we go all the
way. The band and I spent a week in Britany. First we went the Le Pléneuf-Val-André, a
lovely costal town next to Saint-Brieux, where we rehearsed for 3 days to fine
tune the set, add new material (Ocean), and work with Tintin on the finer
details of the SOUND!
As you may not know, but since the concert for the opening of the casino of Le
Havre, we have no amps or drums on stage! But we do have 3 laptops, one for
live loops, one for guitar sounds (me), and one for V Drum sounds. Soundchecks
can be long, but the flexibility and especially the low volume on stage, are a
major benefit.
The band is the same: Eric B. Barr on Live and some guitar, Audrey Lavergne on vocals
and some(what) guitar, Jean-Denis Rivaleau on drums, Fred Schadoroff on piano
and synth, Olivier Soubeyran on bass and Tintin doing the sound.
I will be putting together a band in Toulouse with Jean-Denis, Fred and a bass
player to be determined, it will replace, some say unfortunately PowerTrio, but
we have to move on and get "Oysters" out there!
We then set off for La Trinité sur Mer, where we played before Tri Yann, a notorious
band from Britany that's been around for 36 years! They drew somewhere between
5 and 6 thousand people. Lot's of fun, Maud and I did our thing on the "proscenium", on my knees, and with teeth. Lot's of fun, did I say that
already?
Back in Toulouse, I am preparing 2 concerts with Guitarkestra, we are going to
shake some walls!
Check out MySpace.com (Guitarkestra et Lone Kent), I'm setting up information and contacts there, and it
might be a good tool, You let me know.

June 2006
EXCEPTIONAL CONCERT in Le Havre, the 3rd of June, that got Lone Kent and Audrey Lavergne together
To celebrate the opening of the new Le Havre casino, these two talented artists presented their new albums.
Lone Kent's co-composed six of the twelve songs of Audrey Lavergne's album and
performed all the guitars. Audrey Lavergne is the feminine voice of Lone Kent's
album.
Though different, their musical universes, rock and "trip rock", join by their
extreme precision and the care given to their compositions.
They met in 2003, during the recording of Francis Lalanne's "D'une vie à
l'autre" album, on which they both worked.
Since, they began a mutual work, with Eric B. Barr, programmer and tremendous
sound engineer, which gave birth to their two own albums, under the impulse of
their producer Noa Music.
TO BE ENJOYED WITHOUT MODERATION!

August 2005
I decided to set up a band to be able to play live, the tracks of my new album. I wanted a light and uncomplicated set-up, so I called my friends and co-workers of "Power Trio": Jean-Denis Rivaleau, Joël Trolonge and also Audrey Lavergne for the vocals (with whom we are working on a record).
For this concert, I used my old Fernandez Telecaster, my small 15W Fender amp, and a few pedals. Jean-Denis played on DW drums, Joel brought his upright bass, Audrey played guitar (a Rickenbacker) for the first time, and of course we both sang.
We set up in a circle in the centre of the club, it was ideal to get the audience as integrated as possible, but also to film and take pictures freely.
Eric B. Barr, our sound engineer, got a warm and powerful sound, reflecting well the album’s atmosphere despite the electronic details.
It was a great moment. We recorded and filmed it.
The band is now ready to go on tour, and we hope to meet you soon, on a stage near your home…
Lone Kent
